My name is Rakesh Pandit, and I am reaching out to you with a heart full of hope, seeking help for my son, Ankush Kumar, who is just 3 years old.

Our world changed forever when we found out a year ago that Ankush was diagnosed with blood cancer. As a parent, nothing could have prepared me for the shock and pain of hearing that my little boy was fighting such a severe illness. Since then, my family and I have done everything we can to give him the best treatment possible, but it has become an overwhelming journey.

We come from a small village called Laxmi Pur in the Moti Hari district of Bihar. I work as a laborer in a factory, earning between 10,000 and 15,000 rupees a month, and though we live a simple life, every rupee we saved went into his treatment. The cost of Ankush’s medical care has been tremendous, and while we have tried everything within our means, we are now at a point where we can no longer afford the rising expenses on our own.

Ankush is a brave little soul who is full of life despite the hardships he faces daily. Each trip to the hospital, each chemotherapy session, and each test drains him physically, yet he still manages to smile. But the fight is taking a toll on him, and doctors have told us that without continued and immediate treatment, his condition could worsen rapidly.

With every ounce of strength I have as a father, I am fighting for Ankush’s life, but the reality is that I am unable to do this alone. This letter is my humble plea for support, as I struggle to provide my son with the care he needs. The possibility of losing him is something I cannot bear, and I am reaching out to you and to anyone who might help us in this desperate time.
